MHonArc is Earl Hood's venerable e-mail archiving program, written in Perl. It's widely used, and is highly customizable. This page is devoted to some MHonArc add-ons that I created to satisfy some of my own needs.    (02)

mhpurple.pl is a MIME filter that implements some Open Hyperdocument System-like features. Based on mhtxtplain.pl, mhpurple.pl:    (04)

• Adds purple numbers for granular addressability.    (05)
• Optionally extracts link data and writes it to a text file.    (06)

mhpurple.pl is used for the Bootstrap Alliance's mailing list archives.    (07)
